We are also excited to announce the release of Where They Belong, a book about CIF and family-based care. Coming globally July 9th & in Cambodia mid-June!
Introduction to the book “Where They Belong by Erin Foley”
In 1992, as the communists trickled out of Cambodia, Dale and Cathleen Jones found themselves thrust into running an orphanage full of children separated from their families, orphaned, or abandoned due to poverty and civil war. In learning to navigate culture, corruption, and the care of hundreds of children, they realized that institutions were no substitute for a family and that family is the God-created structure for protecting vulnerable children and holding communities together.
Journey with the Joneses, Ming Anny, and many others as they find a better way to care for orphaned and vulnerable children through the founding and continued efforts of Children In Families (CIF). World Without Orphans Conference 2024
In March, Sam Ol and Srey Ny attended the WWO Conference in Thailand. Srey Ny was a speaker on the panel on “Serving Children with Disabilities in the Majority World” at the conference.
Partnerships & Cuddly Toys
Recently, the Somerset Norodom Phnom Penh ASCOTT raised money and awareness for CIF. Through their Teddy Bears sale, they donated significantly to Children in Families, directly supporting the well-being and development of children within our care. This act of kindness demonstrates a true commitment to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
